Projects

I had a late start with engineering, but in the past five years I have spent a lot of time learning from a variety of projects in different fields, and below are the most interesting things I worked on.

Terraform Industries

CO2 making machine in a desert

2025-2026: Owned the design, build, and testing of two iterations of a carbon capture system and led deployment of Terraform’s reactor in a Californian desert powered entirely by off-grid solar.

HyTech Racing

2023-2024 : Team President of the Formula SAE EV team. We broke the North American Acceleration Record and won multiple dynamic events!

2021-2023: I was on the Electric Drives team responsible for building the battery of the car.

Robotics

Digit
Cassie

2024 -2025: Undergraduate Research assistant at LIDAR. I focused on hardware design and humanoid control

2022-2023 : I did sensor integration for Cassie’s Foot used for terrain classification.

TerraFirma

2024 : Robotics Engineering Intern at TerraFirma. I built a robot arm, implemented an Object detection system, and worked on multiple other tasks unique to a young and scrappy start up.

Rivian

2023: Process engineering intern at Rivian. I designed fixtures, tested batteries, and contributed to scaling production of battery modules. This was my first real job and seeing the challenges of making reliable hardware was eye-opening.

Precision Biosystems Lab

Metal Grain image

2024 : Undergraduate Research Assistant at the PBL. The goal of the project was to automate the process of segmenting and identifying individual metal grains from a microscopic image. We are currently training a model that is a Fine-tuned version of Meta’s SAM.
